Annual Concert
Our idea behind the name was it should have some meaning and sense to it. Hence Neev meaning Foundation. It was our foundational block annual gathering from Grades Nursery-2. The show was Spectacular! The ideas were inspired from their curriculum. The anchors stole the show with their confidence and speech delivery tactics. Students performed really beautifully and confidently. Our parents supported the students on stage with their appreciating cheers and claps. Students who take ownership of their learning have a sense of self-efficacy and are able to deeply engage in learning activities. Our students took ownership of the 2 day Annual gathering and soared to new heights showing their exemplary management skills. Our special guest Dr. Sudhir Azad was left spell bound in awe and admiration. The whole experience was overwhelming and encouraging.
The annual gathering was basically a medium to motivate students to perform better in fine arts along with studies. Gratitude to our dear Director Principal Mr. Abhishek Bagchi Sir for always motivating us and guiding us towards greater heights. We would also like to thank our Director Operations Ashiwinikumar ChavrPatil Sir for his constant guidance and support. Our dear Vice Principal Mrs. Vidya P. Bartakke Mam thank you for trusting us and guiding us with so much love and care. We would also like to thank our Admin staff. We couldn't have done it without you! Special thanks to Ms. Priyanka Samudra Mam, Ms. Pallavi Shedge Mam, Ms. Pritee Lohar Mam, Mr. Manoj Chavan Sir, Mr. Rahul Sir, Ms. Neha Mam, Mr. Aniket Sir, Ms. Bhumika Mam and our dear teachers and staff. Love and Gratitude!
Olympics
Sports is not only about mental and physical fitness but also about hard work, determination, perseverance and team spirit. Walking in the same line, the pre-primary and primary students of MIT World Peace School, Alandi took part in WPS Olympics on the 23rd of December, 2022 for the very first time and the outcome was magical. There were about 10 schools from outside who participated with the same enthusiasm and spree. There were Chief Guests and Guests of Honour, to whom the whole thing was no less surprising! It was a very pleasant site to watch the tiny tots participating in all the various events and the outstanding level of energy has mesmerised each and everyone present there.
Undoubtedly, the volunteers were the champions of WPS itself and they deserve a mention for organising every bit in the best possible way. The event ended with the announcement of School Winner trophies and undoubtedly, it was WPS Alandi who secured the first rank. A feather on the cap, certainly.
Youth Festival
WPS Alandi was selected to participate in the International Fest in City Montessori School in Lucknow. The students who represented our school are 1) Anjani Kokate, 2) Ketaki Gosavi, 3) Ovi Parhad, 4) Parikshit phadke, 5) Nuzzhat Sayyad. They participated in Debate, Drama, Digital Comic and Poetry competiton, all based on the theme of celebrating 75 years of India's independence.
The school was awarded with the ‘First Consolation Prize’ in Digital Comic. With such a huge exposure, the students came back with a lot of learning and we look forward to the best wishes for these students from all the members of our WPS family.
